As you may recall, we recently offered you a little tease of some of the stuff on the horizon for Aha users. A lot of it is conceptual, but it still touches on the some of the feature ideas we are working on.
Well, we are getting closer to those previews and demos becoming reality, so be sure to stay tuned. We’ll be sure to tell you when you can get in and test drive the “new hotness.”
In last week’s post about CES I mentioned that we were demo’ing an all-new app. I even offered a link to the “Coming Soon” so you could get an idea of some of the stuff we are adding.
And now I have a nifty video that captures some of the ideas and directions (believe it or not that pun was not intended) we are heading with our services.
And now that you are all revved up with video coolness, have some fun with this week’s top shouts!
You may have thought that we at Aha only care about Festivus (it is, after all, for the rest of us), but we really embrace all choices for all of our users.
In case you haven’t heard (or checked your App Store app lately) our latest version of Aha has hit the App Store and is ready for download.
You won’t see any major visual changes in this release, but we did make some pretty significant speed and stability updates…so you’ll want to make sure you get it.
Before I get to the top shouts this week, let’s all give a big round of applause to Jason S. for his contribution to the blog earlier this week (be sure to check it out if you missed it).
In the coming weeks I’ll be pestering cajoling other colleagues to take some time to weigh in from their respective areas of expertise (so stay tuned).
Happy Turkey Day to everyone out in Aha land. Hopefully you all had safe travels en route to see all of your family and friends this weekend. And if you used Aha during any of your driving you no doubt noticed that DRAMATIC improvement to the launch time (announced earlier this week). With any luck that means you are leaving a ton of shouts, and hearing all sorts of great shouts from others. This leads me to the SHOUTS OF THE WEEK (one day early, because I know you will all be out shopping tomorrow!).
I’m going to go light on the pleasantries again this week. Just a quick reminder that you can also find us at twitter.com/AhaMobile, GetSatisfaction/AhaMobile, and facebook.com/AhaMobile. If you want to shoot us some feedback, ask for help, or just mingle with some other users, any of those will do the trick.
On with the top shouts!
Misc. & Awesome (because no week is complete without a rubberneckers comment) roggen – I love rubberneckers – Provo-Orem, UT
Yes… in case you haven’t noticed it is Friday the 13th. Don’t worry, I’m not going to dress up in a hockey mask and terrorize any camp counselors, but I will terrorize you with the latest installment of the SHOUTS OF THE WEEEEEEEEEK! (MUAH MUAH MUAH).
Couldn’t resist sharing this awesome shout today. For anyone who may not understand the context, I’ve included the video that inspired it. It’s long, but you can skip ahead to about 1:20 if you want (though you’ll regret it). Also, be advised that there is some NSFW language during certain parts of the clip.
In honor of my formative musical years (mid 90′s through the early 00′s) I selected two “classics” for the Misc/Awesome shouts this week.
It’s amazing how nostalgic it makes me when I hear others belting out songs that remind me of high school and college.
Anyway, here are the top shouts!
Misc. & Awesome sniderman – Bling Bling (an old favorite of mine, plus he has a great profile pic)
switch – It’s so hard to say goodbye (also a favorite from my youth)
